A Question for Y'all

I have a book that I'm currently reading for review. The review will be coming out this coming up week and I gotta tell you the cover is steamy, the content is steamy. Well, it's an Ellora Cave book, so if any of y'all are familiar with EC stuff, you know its pure erotica.
Some people refuse to read erotica and review it. I have no problems. BUT, the conundrum lies in do I change to the 18+ content for this blog, or do I start a blog specifically for my 18+ reviews?
I'm leaning towards starting a new one specifically for my 18+ reviews.

  1. I have had the same problem, and I have decided I just don't have the time to deal with two blogs... but I am lucky enough to be able to post reviews of my erotica-reads on another blog anyway, that way, my own blog stays open for all ages.

    1. Yeah, the whole time for two blogs is killing me. But I have to do what I have to do I guess.

  2. I'm not sure how I would handle that. I have to keep all those reviews off my blog because my son reads it occasionally and he is too young to be seeing those types of images and reviews. I would do the second blog option if you do in fact have the time. Otherwise, I agree with Lexxie...there are sites that you can post your reviews to so you still get them out there, but it wouldn't have to be on your website. Good luck! 1. The problem JC is the question of whether I do indeed have the time. I certainly wouldn't have the time to do all the memes, just the reviews there.

  3. This is a hard question. I only occasionally read the steamier type book and I have only reviews a couple on my blog, but I don't put the book cove on my post if it is inappropriate. I also watch what words I chose to explain it. I would also maybe suggestion putting in the title that it is for 18 + viewers. I don't think I have the time to run a second blog, but if you do all the power to you. If you read a lot of those books it probably makes more sense to have a second blog. Sorry this is a lot of rambling. Hope it helps.

    1. Between full time work, full time motherhood, Girl Scout Troop leader, I'm surprised I have time for this one, Kay! Another blog on my plate...it'll either make me or break me, lol.

  4. If you have time to do 2 blogs, more power to you! :) But I just put a disclaimer on my blog stating that I do review ALL types of books so some things on my blog aren't for everyone.

BTW, I nominated you for the Liebster Blog Award. You can find the details on my blog. If you don't want to participate, it's fine. I've just followed your blog for awhile (even before you started this one) and I love it!
