Author Bio: I hear voices. Tiny fictional people sit on my shoulders and whisper their stories in my ear. Instead of medicating myself, I decided to pick up a pen, write down everything those voices tell me, and turn it into a book. I’m not crazy. I’m an author. For the most part, I write contemporary Young Adult novels. However, through a writing exercise that spiraled out of control, I found myself writing about zombies terrorizing the Wild Wild West—and loving it. My zombies don’t sparkle, and they definitely don’t cuddle. At least, I wouldn't suggest it. 
 
I live on the benches of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains with two lovely children, one teenager, and a very patient husband. I graduated from Utah State University with a B.A. degree in English, not because of my love for the written word, but because it was the only major that didn't require math. I can’t spell, and grammar is my arch nemesis. But they gave me the degree, and there are no take backs.

Review: I'd like to thank the author as well as Promotional Book Tours for allowing me to read this book in exchange for an honest review.
It's been awhile since I've given anything less than 4 stars, and I feel badly about giving this book anything less than 4 stars because towards the end it was really good. The premise behind the book was intriguing, and I loved it. The first half of it moved so slowly, it was almost painful to get through.I was glad I did get through it because it did pick up for me.
The author is a great writer, and he write so descriptively, it is easy to feel yourself in the story line. Some of the word choices that were made during the writing made things a little awkward. I found myself sitting back and wondering why he used that particular word. For instance, there's a part where the main character "crumbles" into a seat. I expected the word crumple, and if it was the first instance of a strange word choice, I would have put it up to a typo. However, if you think about it, crumbling and crumpling into a seat could both technically be done, but I don't really like to examine an author's word choice that closely, especially if I'm in the middle of an action scene.
I have seen some incredible reviews for this, very positive ones. I guess I just wasn't feeling this book from cover to cover.

With a degree in commerce, Joss has worked as a consultant for more than twenty years, writing copy for marketing firms and assisting start-up companies launch their business. She recently made the switch from composing copy and promos, to writing fiction and prose. She is developing her style through courses and the support of other writers. A recent graduate of the Long Ridge Writer’s Group, she is a member of the Romance Writers of America and is presently working on honing three other novels for publication. JUDYANN MCCOLE was a senior in high school when she started working on Adela Arthur and the Creator’s Clock during her history class. It started off as short story for a group of young kids she babysat for and grew into an adventure she herself wanted to go on. She is currently attending college in Virginia. Where she hopes to finish the next adventure in Adela Arthur’s life. She begin writing when she was in middle school most of it was just simple poetry but she was inspired by Maya Angelou and even a little of Dr. Seuss.

He spent seventeen years in Iran extensively studying Sufi literature and poetry before coming to the United States in 1993 to finish his residency training in pediatrics from Columbia University.
