#TOUR and #GIVEAWAY: Love or Justice by Rachel Mannino
#EXCERPT: The Haunted Realm by Emilyann Girdner
Summary: Araina’s lonely teenage life is forever altered when she witnesses a man with supernatural powers emerge through a rippling wall into the dark and deadly labyrinth she calls home. She is left to solve the mysteries of who he is, why he has special abilities and what is on the other side of the labyrinth wall through which he came.
Hunting or Hunted Excerpt from The Haunted Realm:
The bushes beside us rustle wildly. The three of us backing away, Soll shoves the light toward the tangled shrubs, which are shaking. There’s no one to be seen.
Hissing erupts as something sweeps beneath us, sending us to the ground. Hand still gripping the stick of fire, Soll yanks it about to his left then our right.
Giant jaws burst forth, revealing teeth, each one the size of my dagger.
Covered in mud, my fingers slip when I try to withdraw an arrow. Vickon slashes the giant reptile across the nostril, enraging it further. Glowing eyes set on him.
Soll’s managed to gain his footing again and stabs the fire stick in the ground a couple feet away as he draws his swords. Before he even takes a swing at the predator, its giant tail again swipes at us. Vickon and I duck, but Soll falls backward into a tree.
Squirming in the madness and mud, I inch over to the nearest stump and pull myself up. Vickon defends with his sword, trying to get in an impactful injury. This thing is huge, its skin tough. Its snout alone must be two foot in length, its body probably over twelve. Light reflects off the slimy residue that sits on the creature’s skin. Blood and bits of flesh hang from the corners of its mouth. How in the world are we going to conquer this beast and in its own natural habitat no less?
The creature sets its sights on Vickon again. It looks hungry and not ready to give up a meal.
My crossbow extracted, I aim for its eyes. That tactic helped slow the Buyu down in Segment One, so it’s worth trying. That giant serpent seemed indestructible until I blinded it. My advantage is being in close proximity. Unfortunately, terrible lighting and the reptile’s spastic movements work against me.
“Soll? Come back!” I scream.
What’s going on with him? He’s gone, no longer beside the cypress where he had fallen.
“Ah!” Vickon moans. A tooth catches his arm, yanking away part of his flesh.
Hisssss
The creature jerks about frantically as an arrow grazes by its eye, taking a large chunk of flesh with it. It was a shot in the dark, but it worked.
“Run,” I tell Vickon. He’s in no shape to continue this fight. The animal’s too large, and he’s been holding it alone. Now he’s injured. “Go!” I scream at him.
He backs only a few feet away as our attacker turns toward me. Its lengthy body crawls in my direction. I shoot again, but miss. Its motions are more chaotic now that it’s hurt. Rough skinned, gigantic, and bloodthirsty, this animal has the upper hand still, and it’s angrier than ever. The Labyrinth Wall Ebook: Amazon | The Labyrinth Wall Paperback: Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Books-A-Million
The Labyrinth Wall Shirts, Mugs, Journals and Other Fun Merchandise: The Labyrinth Wall Zazzle Shop Reviews: 5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Dystopian Fantasy By Ellen P. Lafleche-Christian I’m a big fan of fantasy fiction provided it isn’t super sweet and cute and I am so glad I read The Labyrinth Wall. The Labyrinth Wall is a great adventure with a dystopian fantasy feel. Ariana and Darith go from one exciting adventure to another which makes the book impossible to put down. There is a constant quest to learn whether there is really something better outside the labyrinth walls. If you enjoy books like The Hobbit (with a slightly lighter feel), you will definitely enjoy The Labyrinth Wall by Emilyann Girdner. I can’t wait to read the next book. 4.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Adventure By Desert Rose Reviews I enjoy books about puzzles, mysteries, riddles, adventure and suspense. Some of the best books for those ingredients are stories involving a labyrinth. There aren't many books that deliver the same kind of entertainment and excitement as a well-written labyrinth adventure. This is one such book, and is one I really enjoyed.

Excerpt from Trails of Secrets by Laura Wolfe:
Jett plodded rhythmically through the pristine landscape. The earthy scent of pine needles, tree moss, and raspberries filled Brynlei’s senses. Wild raspberry bushes sprouted up along the trail, their thorns threatening to impale anyone who reached for the ripe fruit. A small creek with crystal clear water babbled to the right of the trail. She could see straight through the rushing water to the leaves and stones on the bottom.
Anna turned back toward Brynlei. “We’re stopping for minute to let the horses drink from the creek. Pass it on.”
Brynlei passed the same message back to Kaitlyn. She guided Jett over to the creek and let him stretch his head toward the water. Out of the corner of her eye, Brynlei saw something dart behind one of the trees in the distance. She would have dismissed it as a squirrel or a deer, but it was too tall. It almost looked like a person, but then it was gone. The hairs on Brynlei’s neck stood on end. The dark energy prickled her skin. She could feel someone watching her. Jett jerked his head up and perked his ears toward the trees beyond the creek. His nostrils flared and his feet danced. He was on alert and so was Brynlei.
