Q: What is a book you didn't like that all your friends raved about or what book did you love that wasn't popular?

There are a few of them. The last in Lauren Kate's Fallen series, Rapture. While I liked it, I hated the end. Also, there are a ton of mixed reviews for the Fifty Shades series, and I loved the first book. My love with the series dwindled until I was reading the last book only to see how Christian would evolve.

  1. New GFC Follower

I couldn't get through the second book of fallen (but i loved the first one) and the first book of 50 shades.

    Have a great day

  2. I haven't read the Fallen Series but it is on my list. I also haven't read Fifty Shades because I have heard mixed things so I haven't been super motivated to pick it up yet. New GFC Follower :-)

  3. I've not read the Fallen Series but it is on my TBR. I almost went with 50 Shades but figured it would be a pretty popular answer this week. Thanks for stopping by this week. Old follower :)

  4. Sadly, I wasn't able to finish the first book in the Fallen series. I wanted to love it, but I just couldn't. =/

  5. Omg! I hate them both! Especially Fifty Shades :-)

    Thanks for stopping by.

    Old follower too :-)

  6. I've read Fallen- but not any of the rest. Not because I didn't like it, but originally because I hadn't realized it was a series. LOL

  7. Hopping through. New follower! I wasn't a fan of the Fallen series. But I only read the first book. Maybe I'd like the rest better.
    My Hop

  8. Thanks for stopping by. I never read 50 Shades myself, but my wife devoured the trilogy pretty quickly.

    My answer

  9. I read way too many mixed reviews on Lauren Kate's series that I didn't think I would like it. Hearing the same thing about 50 Shades of Gray. Never read it and don't plan to, but I know my sister ended up liking them!

    Here's my Follow Friday

  11. I haven't read either or those series. I have Fallen on my TBR pile. And I have no desire to read 50 Shades of Grey. Glad you liked it though!

    1. Thanks for stopping by Danielle, I love your blog, its so pretty.

  12. I haven't read 50 Shades of Grey. Not my kind of book. I've seen too many mixed reviews on the Fallen series. Haven't made up my mind about reading the book yet.

  15. I read the first two in the Fallen series and then totally lost interest. Though I am curious to how it ended. And I totally get you with 50 shades. I was skimming through most of the last book and a half really just to see what would have happened. Though I could have just guessed.

Thanks for stopping by and following via GFC and Twitter.

    1. Yeah, it was pretty predictable towards the end.

  16. New follower!

I've never actually read either of these books.

  17. I only have made it through the first book of Fallen and then I was done! Haven't read Fifty Shades and I can't say I'm going to.. it's just not my type of book!

  21. I haven't read the Fallen Series yet...I was really into reading it at first and then I came across some pretty bad reviews which took care of my desire.
