Goodreads synopsis:
Never make a deal with a dragon.
Sandra’s sister is dying. Doctors say nothing can be done, but she refuses to give up hope. She has depleted all their resources searching for a cure, when a little bird whispers in Sandra’s ear about secret worlds, gates, and the keepers who protect them. A dragon gatekeeper, who hoards magical treasure within his volcano home in Japan, possibly owns an item capable of curing her sister.
Gates choose their keepers, and Koishi thinks his did an excellent job in picking him. Not many dare to cross, and none who try survive. However, one tiny human female with either the courage of an army or the intelligence of a gnat has arrived on the island asking for him. Curious, he waits for the locals to steer her to his human servant—actually him, in man form.
Let the games begin…

My review: I would like to thank Bewitching Book Tours for allowing me to host this review on my blog.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was a quick, fast-paced read that kept me reading from the first page till the last. Having my own sister who is sick and battling for her life, I can totally relate to Sandra. Would I do anything I could for my sister to make sure she would be healthy? Absolutely. Face down a dragon? Without a doubt.
Yes, because of the connection, I did cry a little at times for Sandra and her sister. And I could feel the arrogance of Koishi, after all, he is a dragon. I think he has every right to be arrogant. But there were imes when I thought he needed to be brought down just a notch by Sandra.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book, and hope to be able to read the next in the series soon.

The tour company, Bewitching Book Tours, is allowing us to give away one copy of the book to one of our readers. So, leave a comment below with your email address and I'll pick a winner on February 18th. Good luck!
