Sophia Sapphire is my pen name, and I grew up in the South with my twin sister. I have since lived in Virginia, Kentucky and North Carolina, where my forensic science training and crime lab experiences inspire the development of my fiction mystery stories. In between working full-time in a regulatory profession, mothering two sons, and writing, I make time for the other essential part of life - chocolate.
