Synopsis: After his unexpected journey into the lands of the fey, Ethan Chase just wants to get back to normal. Well, as "normal" as you can be when you see faeries every day of your life. Suddenly the former loner with the bad reputation has someone to try for-his girlfriend, Kenzie. Never mind that he's forbidden to see her again.
But when your name is Ethan Chase and your sister is one of the most powerful faeries in the Nevernever, "normal" simply isn't to be. For Ethan's nephew, Keirran, is missing, and may be on the verge of doing something unthinkable in the name of saving his own love. Something that will fracture the human and faery worlds forever, and give rise to the dangerous fey known as the Forgotten. As Ethan's and Keirran's fates entwine and Keirran slips further into darkness, Ethan's next choice may decide the fate of them all.

Review: I'd like to thank the author and Net Galley for providing a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is a great series, it really is, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I normally do. The author is one of my favorite authors, however, the series is getting darker and darker. I wouldn't mind that, and for this series, I feel like it is a good thing. On the other hand though, there were not many light moments to the book, not too much funny stuff.
One of my favorite characters in the entire series (including the preceding series) was Grimalkin (like I said, I love cats). This is how I think he would look:

He truly is my favorite character and we got to see so little of him during this book, it really was kind of a let down. While I expect the next book will be even darker, I hope we get more comedy relief from either Grimsy or Puck.
